Environmental Monitoring

We offer a wide range of environmental monitoring services to help our customers to protect their environment.

Air Pollution Studies

The presence of a significant amount of chemical and biological pollutants in the atmospheric air will have an adverse impact on the environment. ANALABS has the capability and state-of-art equipment to monitor these pollutants both  indoor and outdoor.

-         Carrying out source emission tests that are required to comply with the NEA’s Environmental Pollution Control (Air Impurities) Regulations and reference to standard methods such as the USEPA, BS and JIS.

-         Monitoring the ambient air quality that is required to comply with the NEA’s Ambient Air Quality Standards and reference to standard methods such as the USEPA and ASTM.

-         Carrying out Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessment that is required to comply with the NEA’s Guidelines on Good IAQ for Office Premises and reference to standard methods such as the ASHRAE 62-89.

-          In-situ measuring of atmospheric pollutants, such as toxic gases/vapors, nuisance odour, dusts and VOCs, which are required to comply with the NEA’s Environmental Pollution Control (Air Impurities) Regulations as well as the MOM’s Permissible Exposure Levels of Toxic Substances.

Boundary Noise Monitoring

-         Boundary Noise monitoring in compliance with the NEA’s Environmental Pollution Control (Boundary Noise for Factory Premises) Regulations.

Airborne Molecular Contaminant

-         Monitoring the levels of airborne molecular contaminant in clean environment with reference to SEMI F21-1102.

-         Monitoring the airborne particulates cleanliness with reference to ISO 14644-1 and ISO 14644-2.

Environmental Baseline Studies (EBS)

Companies intending to enter into agreement with JTC to purchase or renew an industrial site have to perform environmental baseline studies, as per JTC requirements. The objectives of the studies are to:

-         Determine the current conditions of the soil and groundwater.

-         Establish any potential legal liabilities that might arise from the use of the land.

At ANALABS, we can help companies to conduct EBS so as to assess the contamination of the site.

Hazardous Waste Analysis

We help customer to conduct:

-         Leachate tests of industrial waste for land filled disposal

-         Toxicity tests of dredged soil / sludge for disposal
